Adam is a character in the third installment of the Battle Arena Toshinden video series. He made his first and only appearance in Battle Arena Toshinden 3 , as an unlockable counterpart to Rungo Iron. Of all the unlockable counterparts in Toshinden 3, Adam is one of the most different from his counterpart in terms of moves, along with Vermilion. For starters, Adam wields a cannon arm while Rungo wields an iron club, and his super moves are entirely unique. A bug in the game allows Adam to perform the universal "Soul Bomb" move (Light Slash + Light Kick) unlimited times in the air.

Story[]

Adam is a cybernetic and mechanical robot whose true origins, or in his case, activation, is unknown. He has been with the Soshiki since its inception and has been on most of its nefarious missions. However, although he was designed to be a simple killing machine, Adam had possessed special thoughts and emotions from within his own unique cybernetic brain.

One day during an assassination mission, Adam had met a human woman and instantly fell in love with her, but this unexpected concept had posed as a potential problem for Adam. As a fully-fledged robot, he could never love a human woman and that the chances of them being together was highly unlikely. However, Adam was quite very surprised to hear and learn from Abel that he could grant Adam's wish in gaining a human body if he was to participate in the third Toshindaibuki as part of the Soshiki's plan to bring back Agon Teos: a destructive fighting god. Not willing to pass this chance and opportunity up, Adam had agreed with Abel on the plan and battled in the third tournament, hoping to win so that he could gain his long-sought human body.

Sadly for Adam, his dream would never come to pass, for Rungo Iron: a Toshinden fighter and Adam's specific target, had defeated the robot, turning him into a pile of scrap metal beyond repair.
