Judgement is a character in the third installment of the Battle Arena Toshinden video game series. He made his first and only appearance in Battle Arena Toshinden 3, as an unlockable counterpart to David, with a similar moveset to him, although it consists entirely of slashing attacks and he does not use any kicks. His physical appearance is based on Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th franchise, and like him, he is mute, uttering only grunts and groans while performing certain moves and low laughter in all his win poses.

Story[]

Judgement is a mysterious mute killer who wears a hockey mask. Little is known about Judgement's past, except that he used to be a friend to David until his personal obsession for absolute power lead him to learn of Agon Teos during their time at the orphanage. Being a year older, Judgement was among those teenagers before David's group to be sacrificed in the Organization's rituals, and shown himself to be one of the few willing to participate in the Organization's rituals, believing that if he succeeded, the ritual sacrifice would stop. However, because the rituals were not perfected and relearned from their ways lost in time, the Organization's members instead used him as an experiment behind his back, to see what would happen if an imperfect and impure spiritual body from Agon Teos would have on a sacrifice, and that if one had the spirit and drive, they could perfect the impure spirit summoned to become a pure vessel for Agon Teos. As Judgement embraced the evil daemon that sought to possess him, the overwhelming will of the daemon, as well as the pain and torment of the ritual was too much for him to bear, causing him to lose his soul. As the ritual ended, Judgement was heavily disfigured and transformed as a result, with immense strength and could barely feel pain, but was marred and burnt head to toe, and did not express any emotion other than a zombie-like sadistic lust to kill. The Organization saw this soulless inhumane transformation as a success, and a new step in the ways of strengthening its disposable but usable followers. Now as a merciless and cold-blooded killer for the Soshiki, Judgement uses his chainsaw to tear apart his victims in an instant.

With help from the Soshiki's leader, Abel, Judgement heads to the third Toshindaibukai in the hopes of finding more victims for his senseless and murderous rampage, but instead, he encounters his old friend David. Completely forgetting about the entire past between him and David, Judgement tries to attack and kill David with his chainsaw, but David, who has emotional regret in his heart, is forced to fight back. Though David is forced to dodge and weave, his balance and speed had him inflict more attacks on the seemingly indestructible Judgement, and though incapacitates him, is forced to kill Judgement without any hesitation or second thought, knowing that the friend he knew died truly long ago.
