Story[]

Once considered a high-profile assassin of Japan back in his glory and golden days, Toujin was a warrior whose might was considered mysterious but incomparable by any. In reality, Toujin is the lone descendant of a rouge ninja clan who studied directly under the legendary figure Xu Fu, the Taoist alchemist and xian who was sent by tyrannical Qin Shi Huang to discover the elixir of immortality, and retreated into exile into Japan. Drawing upon never before seen applications of ki and martial arts, Toujin was undefeated by his almost magical fighting style that won his battles. In turn, Toujin was also rumored and feared to have sought the feared mythical yokai and obake of Japan to learn of even more dangerous arts and powers that had him seen as more of a demon than man.

Toujin had since retired from the life of an assassin so that he could spend more of his personal time with his loving wife. However, Toujin's peaceful days would take an unexpected shocking turn when his wife had contracted an uncurabale disease. In his own personal despair, Toujin had no idea on how to help her.

However, Toujin was soon approached by Abel one day, who told him that his organization could help save his wife, that is if he was to be an assassin for the Soshiki and eliminate a specific fighter that was to appear at the third Toshindaibukai. Knowing and realizing that he had no other choice from within the dire situation, Toujin had reluctantly agreed with Abel on the plan and came out of retirement in the hopes of saving his wife.

When Toujin had learned that his specific target was a Japanese ninja warrior named Mondo, he held nothing back against his enemy in their inevitable encounter. Though Toujin tried with all of his own might and strength to defeat him, Mondo had proved to be the more cunning warrior, able to counter Toujin's fighting style by analyzing the weak spots in his form, and in the end, Toujin was slain by Mondo. Despite the fact that he had failed in his mission, Toujin had knew and realized in his own dying moment that he would eventually be reunited with his dying wife in the afterlife and that he would be able to spend his life with her peacefully once again.
